A response to Slavoj Žižek’s Rome speech. Skobov reads the present world crisis as a global struggle over the legacy of the European Enlightenment – against the ‘new predators’ who would return the world to the rule of the strong, and against the ‘pseudo-left’ who, to strike at the West, would ally with them.
